Removable prosthetic appliances used to replace missing teeth and surrounding tissue. They can be "Complete" (replacing all teeth) or "Partial" (clipping onto remaining teeth).
They restore the ability to chew and speak for edentulous patients, though they provide only 20-30% of natural chewing force compared to implants.
Brush daily with a denture brush and mild soap (not toothpaste, which is abrasive). Soak in denture cleaner solution overnight to kill bacteria.
