The surgical removal of one or more third molars (wisdom teeth). These are the four permanent adult teeth located at the back corners of your mouth on the top and bottom.
Most people do not have room for wisdom teeth. They often become Impacted (stuck), causing infection (Pericoronitis), cysts, or damage to adjacent teeth. Removal is best done before age 25 when roots are not fully formed.

Soft/Liquid Diet: Yogurt, applesauce, smoothies (no straw!), mashed potatoes, and lukewarm soup. Avoid crunchy foods (chips/nuts) for 1 week.
Wait 48–72 hours. The carbonation (bubbles) can dislodge the blood clot, and the acid irritates the wound.
Wait at least 72 hours. Alcohol thins the blood (causing bleeding) and interacts dangerously with pain medication.
You must wait minimum 72 hours (3 days). Smoking creates suction and introduces toxins, which is the #1 cause of Dry Socket, an agonizingly painful complication.
